How does meQ identify burnout before it becomes a crisis?

meQ works as an early-warning system. It starts with a scientifically validated assessment that scores employees across 18 areas of stress and resilience, like sleep, emotion control, and work-life balance. Employees retake the assessment every 90 days, with shorter pulse check-ins in between. Those patterns show where stress is building and why. meQ flags problems before they show up as costly medical claims or resignations.

How can meQ support employees beyond prevention?

When stress turns into a clinical issue, meQ steps in through its integrated EAP. The EAP covers the full range of acuity, from mild to severe.

Direct Clinical Care: Master's-level counselors answer the phones in real time. They can connect employees to therapists right then for issues like severe anxiety or depression.

Critical Incident Support: meQ sends experts on-site within 24 hours of a crisis. It also coaches HR teams and leaders on how to handle the moment.

Is meQ EAP available outside of the United States and in different languages?

meQ EAP integrates with insurance carriers, internal EAPs, and the full range of medical, mental health, and well-being vendors through Intelligent Navigation. How quickly can meQ EAP be implemented?

meQ EAP launches 6-8 weeks after contract signing. Your assigned Customer Success Director and Account Executive manage the process, gathering the information needed to customize services to your organization: stakeholders, locations, benefit details, and the people challenges you're navigating. The result is an implementation tailored to drive strong engagement from day one.

How does meQ EAP protect member data?

Member data is treated as private, personally identifiable information. Our platform, counselors, and service delivery staff are required to keep member data confidential, in alignment with HIPAA, GDPR, CCPA, SOC 2, ISO 27001, and applicable law.

Aggregated risk and utilization data is shared with the client organization. Personally identifiable information is not shared with the employer, unless the member has given explicit written permission (as with formal referrals), or unless we are required by law to disclose, like in cases of immediate intent to harm self or others.

How granular are the reporting capabilities (e.g., by department, job, location)?

meQ EAP offers 9 standard reporting filters: Age, Gender, Manager, Tenure, Region, Country, State, City, and Registration year. Each filter requires the corresponding data in your eligibility file to appear in reports. With those filters, you can segment your workforce to see which populations are at most and least risk for mental health and performance impairment.

Can meQ EAP be purchased as a standalone, or must it be bundled with the core meQ offering?

No. The personalized experience and the front-end identification of at-risk individuals are core to how meQ delivers value, so EAP services are not available without the core meQ platform.
